Meditation in State College

We have a weekly ongoing meditation class that is open to anyone who is interested in meditation. This is a weekly practice based upon mindfulness stress reduction. It is an opportunity for meditators to share in a weekly sitting with other individuals. Typically we will have a 30 minute meditation and then a discussion on a relevant topic. The main focus is learning to be with our thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. People attend because of physical, mental and emotional issues such as anxiety, anger, depression, grief, stress, mental fog, chronic illness, disease, pain and so on. The focus is to learn to be present with whatever circumstances we are in. A donation is suggested for attending the weekly meditation. 

2015 Meditation schedule


Mindfulness Meditation meets every other Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:00pm. It is a 30 minute meditation.  
Please check back to monitor updates of the starting time of the Wednesday weekly meditation throughout the summer.
